Tips to Prepare For ESE Exam

UPSC conducts Engineering Services Examination i.e. ESE to recruit engineers from the four streams such as Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics and Telecommunication. 1. Know the entire syllabus as it is related to the technical exam. Engineering stream chosen in the ESE exam must be mentioned in the application and prepare for the exam accordingly. 

2. Topics are same as per the curriculum in the graduation level. Prepare them thoroughly.

4. Buy comprehensive study material for the stream you are going to take ESE exam. It should be based on the latest exam pattern and syllabus of ESE 2021 so that you can attempt the exam confidently.

5. Do not ignore GS section as it is an integral part of the syllabus besides engineering aptitude. Both these topics carry 50 percent of the question in the exam. Therefore focus on both GS and ENGINEERING APTITUDE topics rather than just preparing for ENGINEERIN APTITUDE only.

6. Practice full length mock test series after covering the entire syllabus of ESE 2021 and keep on practicing till the examination day. Improve your weak topics identified in every mock test rather than starting afresh for the entire subject in case you feel that you have scored less in the mock tests.
